French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has been in new for a lot of reasons and this time, it is very for something blazing. They think little Aylan might have grown up to be a RAPIST.
Charlie Hebdo, popular for never shying away and picking at the most sensitive issues in the world, is now in the news for a cartoon of Aylan Kurdi. Remember Aylan Kurdi? The Little Syrian Boy who drowned in the sea and got washed up to the beach of turkey. Him.
Aylan was one of the 12 Syrians who drowned in an attempt to flee their homeland and reach the Greek Island of Kos. Charlie Hebdo magazine thinks that if he had survived, he would have grown up to be a RAPIST.
Or so they have implied with this cartoon…
The picture shows two men with outstretched arms chasing women. With the headline ‘Migrants’, the line reads “What would little Aylan have grown up to be? (A) groper in Germany.”
What do you think?
Apparently, Aylan has been depicted as the migrant mob who are responsible for the sexual assaults in Cologne, Germany. Mob sexual assaults across Cologne and other European cities have shocked the world and led to a heated debate on immigrant ingress and their assault as a reaction, reports CNN.
The Charlie Hebdo cartoon under acting editor Laurent “Riss” Sourisseau is creating a storm across the internet. It has outraged many and they are labelling it as Racist And Offensive.
In January 2015, when Charlie Hebdo headquarters was attacked for their cartoon on Mohammed, the world stood by them to fight for Freedom of Speech and #JesuisCharlie emerged on the social network in solidarity, but now the faith seems to be dwindling.
I wonder how many lovers Charlie Hebdo has now? A disgusting racist Islamophic cartoon of little Aylan Kurdi later…

I wanna give Charlie Hebdo the benefit of the doubt, but I just can’t see the satire in the Aylan Kurdi cartoon.

Oh yes, Charlie Hebdo is doing this for the second time. They have earlier made a cartoon of Aylan.
The line above Aylan’s body reads, “So close to his goal” and the board reads, “Promo! 2 children’s menus for the price of one.”
This one reads, “Proof that Europe is Christian. Christians walk on water – Muslim children sink.”
Charlie Hebdo is a purely racist, xenophobic and ideologically bankrupt publication that represents the moral decay of France. — D Peter Herbert OBE (@herbert_donald) September 14, 2015
Charlie Hebdo managed to mock Aylan Kurdi, the boy who drowned, in the name of satire. They stand for freedom of speech or from humanity? — Fatah (@fatah_pak) September 14, 2015
We offer condolences to the family of Aylan and hope some people grow a brain and some sensitivity. Lets us know what you think of this in the comments below. Is this taking freedom of speech too far or not?
