Black Friday

The film is based on 1993 Mumbai blast that killed hundreds of people. It portrays how Dawood Ibrahim and Tiger Memon planned for the blast and executed it. Here Vijay Maurya plays Dawood Ibrahim and Pavan Malhotra as Tiger Memon. The movie shows the involvement of foreign power to the blast after Tiger Memon confesses his plan to set off the explosives throughout Mumbai.



Ram Gopal Verma’s film Company is based on the relationship that Dawood Ibrahim used to share with Chotta Rajan before the 1993 Mumbai Blast. In the film, Dawood and Chota Rajan is played by Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi respectively. The film is the sequel of blockbuster Satya. The main thing to notice in the film is what happens when Dawood and Chota Rajan become enemies.


Once Upon A Time In Mumbai

The film is set in the time when Mumbai underworld is about to reach its peak with the leadership of Haji Mastan between 1960s and 70s. The film talks about the struggle for power of Sultan Mirza and Shoaib Khan played by Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi respectively.



The Nikhil Advani film D-day portrays how Dawood escaped from his daughter’s wedding. The film shows the lives of the Mumbai gangsters as well as how they plan things. The way Shruti Hassan is brutally murdered in the movie is the main thing to notice.


Shootout at Wadala

This film is based on the life of Mumbai gangster Manya Surve who was active at that point of time. He was an expert with knowledge and knew how to plan things. Manya Surve here is played by John Abraham. After being behind the bars with no valid reason, Manya rises to become the most powerful criminal to avenge.


Mumbai Meri Jaan

The film talks about the Mumbai train blasts on the 11th of July 2006. How it affects the lives of six people is the main attraction in the film. However, the movie is not only about the train blasts but a lot more. It portrays how ordinary people reacted to the blasts and how it changed their lives following the destruction!


Shootout at Lokhandwala

Depicting the character of Indian underworld gangster, Maya Dolas, the film talks about 1991 Lokhandwala Shootouts between underworld gangsters and Mumbai police. The underworld gangster in the film represents Vivek Oberoi while Sanjay Dutt portrays Mumbai police officer.



Beginning with a car chase in Chicago, the movie asks you to find out the reason behind the heroine having two cups of tea at Taj!The film Phantom directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is based on 26/11 Mumbai attacks got inspired from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mumbai Avengers. The way Saif never returns to his love Katrina in the movie and that she had two cups of tea in his memory bring tears to our eyes!
